HISTOPATHOLOGY Embedding This is a process of block making, it is done in embedding box. Counting two ‘L’ shape piece of matel the one arm of ‘L’ is longer then the other two LR joint a for a rectangular box with acts as cast for the tissue block.L is also known as ‘Leuchard mould’. Process of block making Two LR joint on a sheet of mettle or glass surface. A little of molten p[araffin in pourd in the “L” square and is allow to cool down so that “L” doesnot get disturubed during tissue embedding. The tissue from paraffin bath is picked up with a tissue forcep and is place in the centre of “L” square. Molten wax is known poured in the square molten slowly to the filled the square up to surface it is left undisturbed for over one hours until the paraffin cools down and becomes head. Limbs of “L” are removed the paraffin is detached from the glass surface known this block is ready for section cutting. ...
